1. why can you not find the mass of a beaker, water, vinegar and alka seltzer in one step rather than recording alka seltzer by itself?
2. what is maximum volume of vinegar that can be neutralized by one alka seltzer tablet and explain answer?

1. Because water (and/or vinegar) and Alka Seltzer will react producing a gas which would not be weighed.
