The histories of Kush and Egypt are intertwined with each other because they were reliant on each other. How did their interdependence work, and why did each take control of the other in turn? (make it short and like a 7th grader wrote it)

Kush and Egypt had a close relationship because they both needed each other for trade and resources. Kush, located to the south of Egypt, had valuable resources like gold and iron, while Egypt had access to the Nile River for farming and transportation.

At different times, either Kush or Egypt would gain control over the other. Sometimes, Egypt would invade Kush to take its resources, especially during times when Egypt was strong. Other times, Kush would conquer Egypt, especially when it became powerful, like during the 25th Dynasty when the Kushites ruled Egypt.

This back-and-forth control showed how important each kingdom was to the other, and how their histories were closely linked through wars, trade, and culture.
