Question

How would I find the general solution for x/2=2pi/3 and x/2=pi/3?

Answers

Reiny
x/2 = 2pi/3 yields a unique solution of
x = 4pi/3

Does this answer come from some trig equation? Your subject title suggests that.
In that case find the period of the trig function, then add k(period) to 4pi/3, k an integer.
