solve for x: log4 X - log4 2 = 2

log(2x) = 2

Now what do I do?

base 10 you keep the base down low

10^2=2x The log is the exponent

100=2x

50=x
Are those 4's down low? Then they are bases. Whatever the log equals is an exponent. 4^2=2x 16=2x 8=x
