I found just one link to boron as an essential trace element in the human diet here. But you will notice that most of the particulars are missing. The closest anyone can guess is that boron acts as a catalyst in some reactions.

I found many by obvious "snake healers" who wanted to sell their product(s) and I didn't include any of them.
I suggest you go to google.com and use several search words/terms and see if you can get some more information.

Try boron human diet as a search term. I obtained a hits, better than most terms I used.
