Find the probability that a randomly thrown dart will land in the shaded area of the dartboard. A square that is 6ft width by 6ft length 4ft width by 9ft length.

Question does not make sense. If a dart is thrown "randomly," how do you know it is even thrown in the direction of the target?
Second, a square (by definition) cannot be 4x9 feet.
Need some data on previous throws. Be much more specific.
