(x-2)/(x+2)=(3)/(x)

What would you do with fractions in arithmetic? Cross multiplication would work here as well. 3 (x+2) = (x-2) x

3x+6= x^2-2x

x^2-5x-6= 0

(x-6) (x+1)=0

either x=6 or x=-1 would work
