I have a rectangle equally divided into 24 parts
I must cut it into 5 pieces and make a new shape. cannot bea rectangle

I don't get it. If it is already divided into 24 parts, you can rearrange them in hundreds of nonrectangular ways, whether you cut some of them them 5 more times or not.
