Assuming the points are on the same line, you first use the slope formula to find the "m" in your equation:
y1-y2/x1-x2, using the corresponding x and y values in your points: -1 and -4 are y values, and -2 and -6 are your x values (make sure you enter them in the same order).
Next you take your new slope that you just found, plug it into the "m" spot on your equation, and then plug in the x and y values form either one of your points. You are then able to solve for b.
Then go back and plug in your "b" and "m" values to your equation for your answer, leaving the x and y in place.
