The Grenada invasion was an effort to protect American lives at a Medical School there, during a left-wing coup that may have been supported by Castro. It is not clear what the author of the question considers the "earlier Americal policy failure" in Cuba. Was it the abortive "Bay of Pigs" invasion or the fact that it (and the assassination of Castro) were planned at all?
Clearly, the Grenada invasion re-established an American "Monroe Doctrine" policy in the area, and was a show of force to counter the export of the Cuban revolution. In that respect, it succeeded.
We are not going to write a full blown essay for you. There are many points of view regarding US relations with Cuba before and after the 1959 revolution there. Try to be objective.
