The way you typed it ....
tan x - sec^2 x / tan x
= tanx - (1/cos^2x)(c0sx/sinx+
= tanx - 1/(sinxcosx)
= tanx - cscxsecx
tan x - sec^2 x / tan x
= tanx - (1/cos^2x)(c0sx/sinx+
= tanx - 1/(sinxcosx)
= tanx - cscxsecx
