On the KWLQ chart, which columns do you write in during your reading?.

1 answer

The KWLQ chart consists of four columns:

  1. K (Know): What you already know about the topic before you start reading.
  2. W (Want to know): What you want to learn or find out from the reading material.
  3. L (Learned): What you have learned after completing the reading.
  4. Q (Questions): Any questions that arise during or after your reading that you may want to explore further.

During your reading, you typically focus on filling out the L (Learned) column as you gather new information, and you may also jot down any relevant questions in the Q (Questions) column that you come up with while reading.
