then ..
(2x+7)(x-1)/((2x+3)(2x+7))
= (x-1)/(2x+3), where x is not equal to -7/2
write in lowest term (2x+7)(x-1)/(2x+3)(2x+7)

(x-1)/(2x+3) is the answer because the (2x+7) in the numerator and denominator cancels out.
