I don't know where abdullahi got his answer, but it needs to be reduced to:
5x = 5/8
x = 1/8
Exponents are written online with vertical carats (^). To find the GCF, first find the prime factors.
(2*2*5)x^9 - (2*2*5)x^7 - (2*2*2*2)x^2
The GCF = 4x^2
