Today, I learned some fascinating information about volcanoes. The molten material, known as magma, is expelled from the summit during eruptions, which can be violent. The lava produced can vary in viscosity, being either highly viscous or more fluid in nature. These volcanic eruptions can cause significant destruction; however, they can also provide beneficial effects for the environment, such as enriching soils with nutrients.
