operations on functions:

Given f(x) = 2root x+7 and g(x) = 5x^2 – 9, evaluate (f/g)(2) . I don't understand how to do this, can someone please explain the process??!! thanks!

(f/g)(x) = (2√(x+7)/(5x^2-9)
(f/g)(2) = 2√9/11
= 6/11
