I'm having trouble with these two questions about slopes and equation of a line:
(A)-Find the slope of each segment
(B)-Write an equation of the line that is determined by each pair of points
1. (0,0) and (6,-4)
2. (-3,2) and (7,-4)
Thank you!

I will do the second one.
If you are using the y = mx + b form of the equation ....
find slope:
m = (-4-2)/(7-(-3)) = -3/5
then y = (-3/5)x + b
sub in (-3,2)
2 = (-3/5)(-3) + b
2 = 9/5 + b
2 - 9/5 = b
b = 1/5
then y = (-3/5)x + 1/5
do #1 the same way.
