I am not sure how to set this problem up..
A car uses 12 L of gasoline in traveling 150 km. At that rate, how
many liters of gasoline will be used in a trip of 400 km?

You could set it up as a proportion, with x being the number of liters used in 400 km.

12/150 as x/400

Cross multiply and solve for x.
