x = 4 y + 5
4 y = x-5
y = (x-5)/4
4 y = x-5
y = (x-5)/4

So I don't get what the final answer is suppose to be... cuz I have to use point-plotting which I know how to do.

Well, you wanted y and there is y
If you want points, pick a couple of x values.
For example if x = 0, then y = -5/4
so a point is (0, 5/4)
Then maybe pick x = 9
then y = (9-5)/4 = 1
so a second point is (9,1)
If you are graphing that is enough because it is a straight line through those points.
