Your question obviously was:
Find the area enclosed by the functions
y = x^2 + x + 2 and y = 3x + 3
The way you typed it makes no sense.
First find the intersection of the parabola and the straight line. ( got x = 1 ± √2)
Find the effective height of your region
( I had 3x+3 - (x^2 + x + 2) or -x^2 + 2x + 1 )
evaluate the definite integral of that for the x values you found.
find the area of x^2+x+2 and 3x+3
