The Associative Property of Addition states that the way in which numbers are grouped does not affect their sum. This means that for any numbers \( a \), \( b \), and \( c \):
\[ (a + b) + c = a + (b + c) \]
In the expression \( (7 + 8) + 6 \), we can apply the Associative Property by regrouping the numbers:
\[ (7 + 8) + 6 = 7 + (8 + 6) \]
So an equivalent expression is \( 7 + (8 + 6) \).
