Question

Are spring tides more common during the spring? Explain

No, spring tides have nothing to do with the season "Spring".

Can someone please explain this to me more clearly, thanks

Spring tides are not named from the season but from "spring forward". This occurs twice each month, when the moon is full and new.

More info would be appreciated. I don't mind links, but if you could post some info on here, then I'd be grateful, thanks
