                how do i tackle this problem?!?

    are you proving the identity?
this takes one step.
Right Side = sinx(cosx/sinx)
= cosx
= Left side

1 + tanx / sinx + cosx = secx

    I tried a few steps and got nowhere.
At that point, I simply take any angle, e.g. 44 degrees, and test it in the equation.
LS was not equal to RS.
