Answer in 7th graders response Why did he say the following

My daddy once told me that
“We are all addicted to our thoughts. We cannot change anything if we cannot change our thinking. Focus and get your mindset together.”

He said that because he wants us to understand how important our thoughts are. It's like when you’re playing a video game, and if you think you can’t win, you probably won’t. But if you believe you can do it and focus on getting better, you have a better chance of winning. Changing our thinking is the first step to changing our lives, just like when we need to work on being better at something. So, he’s telling us to pay attention to what we think because it can really help us change for the better!
