Use the distributive property to simplify: 3(m-1)-(2m+1)How would you do this?
This is all I have 3m-1-2m+1 I don't know if that right or what to do from there. Your help is greatly appreciated.

-(2m+1)=-2m-1
you missed a sign.

besides that you multiplied the first term incorrectly
3(m-1) is 3m-3 , and not 3m-1
3(m-1) is 3m-3 , and not 3m-1
