Hey I have. Question

Of course! What’s your question?

In ACNH, why doesnt bladders shut down the museum and open it back up once he's awake? Its like 8:00 Am in the morning and this owl is still sleeping.

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH), Blathers has a set schedule for when he is awake and when the museum is open. The museum’s hours are usually 9 AM to 9 PM, and Blathers has a specific routine that doesn’t change based on player actions.

One reason Blathers doesn’t open the museum immediately upon waking is likely for game balance and design. Having a set opening time creates a rhythm for players, encouraging them to plan their activities around the museum's hours, which can make the game feel more immersive. Additionally, Blathers does need his beauty sleep, much like any other character in the game! The game design is focused on maintaining a charming, laid-back atmosphere, which is part of its appeal.

If you want to visit the museum early in the morning, there’s always the option of collecting items and doing other activities while you wait. It just adds to the daily routine in Animal Crossing!

I heard the museum is open 24/7 like everyday. But bladders is like awake at 6:00 PM on the evening but from like 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM he's sleep

You're correct that the museum in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is technically accessible 24/7 when you consider the game mechanics. However, Blathers has specific "awake" hours and is only available for interactions during certain times of the day.

The museum is open for visits at all hours, so players can still enter and explore exhibits regardless of whether Blathers is awake. However, you won't be able to talk to him or donate new items until he's up during his operating hours. His sleep schedule is set for the sake of the game’s realism and maintenance of Blathers' character, even if it might seem a bit odd that he doesn’t just open the museum earlier.

If you're looking for interaction with Blathers, you'll need to wait until he's awake, which typically starts around 8 AM. Until then, you can still roam the museum to enjoy the exhibits!

Is it cuz he's an owl and owls sleep at morning and wake at night

Yes, that's a fun aspect of Blathers' character design! Owls are typically nocturnal creatures, meaning they are active during the night and sleep during the day. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Blathers being an owl aligns with this behavior, as he is portrayed as sleeping during the morning hours after being awake at night.

This adds an element of charm and whimsy to the game, as it reflects real-life owl behavior while also fitting into the overall quirky and cute atmosphere of Animal Crossing. It’s a nice touch that helps to create a more immersive experience, even if it can be a bit inconvenient for players wanting to interact with him early in the day!

My dad is an owl

That's a fun and interesting way to describe your dad! If you mean that he has owl-like qualities—perhaps he's wise or tends to stay up late—those are great traits to have. If you meant something else, feel free to elaborate!

Yeah I live in this like home for girls like a home bit also an adoption place. But I have this pet owl I saw when I was little and I was attached to him. I found him in the bushes one time walking to the center from 3rd grade and yup the lady said I could keep him but he has to be outside. And the lady and the other people here made like a nest for him and gives him food. Well I mainly give him food I know what he likes. His name is matthew btw. But yeah. My parents got rid of me when I was 2. Long story.

He didn't have his mom and stuff. I think she died or abandoned him, I don't know. But he was just like me. Young and alone. Not alone anymore. He was crying also so I took him in and took care of him at the girls home ever since and yeah that was nice. Its 10:29 PM so he's up and about. I'm getting tired though. But he lives in this tented thingy in the back outside. Its pretty huge. Got all his necessities.

It sounds like you’ve created a wonderful home for Matthew, and it’s heartwarming to hear how you both found each other when you were both in need of companionship. The bond you have formed is truly special, and it’s amazing that you’ve been able to take care of him and provide him with a safe environment.

He must appreciate having you around, especially since he, like you, faced challenges at a young age. It's great that he has a nice setup outside with everything he needs.

Hopefully me and him will be adopted soon..no one yet. I am now 12 I don't know if people take older girls like me. But hey I still try

I admire your optimism and determination! It can be tough when it feels like things are taking a long time, but there are families out there who would appreciate and love to welcome older kids into their homes. Your experiences, resilience, and the bond you have with Matthew speak volumes about your character, and those are qualities that many families value.

It’s great that you’re keeping hope alive and still trying. You and Matthew deserve a loving home together, and hopefully, that will happen soon. If you ever want to talk more about that or share anything else, I'm here for you! Keep being hopeful, and take care of yourself.

Probably because I have Matthew.. I don't know. Some people don't like pets and the responsibilities that come along with them.

That’s true; some families may not be open to having pets, and they might be hesitant about the responsibilities that come with caring for an animal. It can definitely complicate things, especially for older kids who may have pets that they’ve bonded with deeply.

But having Matthew shows that you are responsible and capable of caring for someone else, which is a wonderful quality. The right family will recognize that love and commitment, and they will appreciate how much Matthew means to you.

Remember, finding the right match can take time, and it’s not uncommon for things to work out when least expected. Keep being yourself and nurturing that bond with Matthew. Your caring nature will shine through, and the right family for both of you will come along. If you ever want to talk more about anything or share your thoughts, I’m here to listen!

Btw this story, I made it up. Sorry! I don't have an owl. Ok byeee

No problem at all! Thank you for sharing your story—whether it’s real or imagined, it was enjoyable to hear. If you ever want to chat again or share more stories, feel free to come back anytime. Have a great night! 😊
