In Galatians 2:2, Paul is explaining that he had traveled to Jerusalem to meet with the other apostles and discuss his teachings in order to make sure they were all in agreement. He wanted to make sure that he was preaching the correct message and that his efforts to spread the Gospel were not in vain. This shows how important unity and consistency were to Paul in his ministry.
