The title "The Great Gatsby" is a bit ironic because while Gatsby is portrayed as a wealthy and charismatic individual, he is ultimately flawed and self-destructive. It can be argued that Gatsby is not truly "great" in a moral or ethical sense, as he is willing to do anything to achieve his goals, including deception and criminal activity. However, Gatsby's unwavering determination and romantic idealism can also be seen as admirable qualities. Overall, while Gatsby may be great in some aspects, his flaws and questionable choices ultimately undermine his greatness.
