Dear [Professor],
I am writing to appeal my fail grade on the CHE 431 course at level 4. I would like to bring to your attention a few important points that I believe contributed to my failure in this course.
Firstly, I did not take chemistry courses in Year 2 and 3 in order to pass the Chemistry at level 4 because it is an advanced course that I struggled to adapt to. Without a solid foundation in chemistry, it was challenging for me to grasp the concepts and pass the course.
Additionally, there was a lack of support and guidance from course advisors who failed to inform us about the importance of taking additional chemistry courses to balance our knowledge and skills. If we had been provided with this information earlier on, it may have helped us to better prepare for the course at level 4.
Furthermore, unexpected circumstances such as the misinformation about a public holiday before the first test may have also contributed to my poor performance. This led to confusion and caused many of us to score poorly on the test.
Lastly, it is important to recognize that students have different learning abilities and some may require more time to understand complex concepts. As an environmental science student, I acknowledge that my learning process may be slower compared to others, but I am willing to put in the effort and dedication to improve.
Taking all of these factors into consideration, I kindly request for a reevaluation of my fail grade on CHE 431. I believe that with the right support and guidance, I can improve and succeed in this course.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
