I don't understand how to do this. I read the steps in the book and they are really confusing. Any help would be beneficial.
r/5=r+1/8
r/5=r+1/8

LCD is 40, so multiply both sides by 40
8 r = 40 r + 5
0 = 32 r +5
r = -32/5
8 r = 40 r + 5
0 = 32 r +5
r = -32/5
