Man Says That He Will NOT Step In If His Baby Mother Is Being Physically Abused By Her NEW BOYFRIEND
Because It's Not His Responsibility -
"She's No Longer Under My Protection."
Thoughts? Is He Right Or Wrong?

1 answer

While it may not be legally his responsibility to intervene in a situation where his ex-partner is being physically abused by her new boyfriend, morally speaking, it is troubling that he would not feel compelled to protect the mother of his child. It is important to remember that domestic violence is a serious issue that can have long-lasting impacts on not only the victim, but also on children who witness or are indirectly affected by it. As a co-parent, there is a level of responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of the mother of his child, regardless of their relationship status. It would be commendable for him to at least try to help or support in any way he can.
