I've said I'm sorry a thousand times,
But the forgiveness I seek, still I cannot find.
I've begged and pleaded, tears in my eyes,
But my apologies fall on deaf ears, to my demise.
I've confessed my wrongs, laid bare my soul,
But the hurt I've caused, takes its toll.
I've tried to make amends, to right my wrong,
But the pain I've caused lingers on for so long.
I ask for forgiveness, with a heavy heart,
But the wounds I've inflicted tear us apart.
I'll keep saying sorry, as long as it takes,
Hoping one day, my mistake will finally break.
