The Cold War and the Vietnam War both had massive impacts on the people. These wars caused many of the civilians to be drafted into them, which caused fear through the ones who haven't yet been drafted. In response to this, the remaining civilians protested for peace, civil rights, and an end to military involvement for foreign wars, this protest was called "The Anti-War Movement". After many years, the protests we're successful, and the people were granted the "Civil Rights Movement", the "Anti-War Movement" was passed, as well as an agreeance to stay out of most foreign conflicts.
