Sweet and Salty Trail Mix
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of mixed nuts (such as almonds, cashews, and peanuts)
- 1 cup of pretzels
- 1 cup of dried fruit (such as cranberries, raisins, or apricots)
- 1/2 cup of chocolate chips or chunks
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 1 tablespoon of melted butter
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed nuts, pretzels, dried fruit, and chocolate chips.
3. In a small bowl, mix together the honey, melted butter, cinnamon, and salt.
4. Pour the honey mixture over the nut mixture and toss until everything is well coated.
5. Spread the mixture out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the mixture is golden and toasted.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving.
8. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
