A biome is a large geographical area of distinctive plants and animals that are adapted to that particular environment.

Tundra:
Biotic factors: Polar bears, arctic foxes, lichens
Abiotic factors: Cold temperatures, permafrost, short growing season

Freshwater:
Biotic factors: Fish, algae, insects
Abiotic factors: Water, sunlight, temperature

Taiga:
Biotic factors: Coniferous trees, wolves, moose
Abiotic factors: Cold temperatures, acidic soil, long winters

Grassland:
Biotic factors: Bison, grasshoppers, prairie dogs
Abiotic factors: Grasses, sunlight, precipitation
