Shawnee was dreading the summer vacation because she was fed up of his siblings fights day and night. She was the oldest and the only girl. Sam and Sheldon, only a year apart, fought like cats and dogs every free moment they had. Sometimes, they would leave Shawnee alone. Most times though, Shawnee had to break up the boys when she couldn't take it anymore

She tried talking to her parents about it, but they just brushed it off as sibling rivalry that would pass with time. Shawnee knew better though, she could see the toll it was taking on all of them. She was tired of playing referee, tired of the constant yelling and screaming.

As the summer vacation approached, Shawnee made a decision. She sat her brothers down and had a heart-to-heart talk with them. She explained how their constant fighting was affecting her, their parents, and themselves. She asked them to try and find a way to get along, even if it meant compromising and letting go of some of their pride.

To her surprise, Sam and Sheldon listened. They realized the impact their behavior was having on their family and decided to make a change. They started communicating more effectively, learning to share and compromise, and even finding common interests to bond over.

As the summer vacation progressed, Shawnee noticed a significant improvement in her brothers' relationship. They still had their disagreements, but they were handling them more maturely and respectfully. Shawnee was relieved and grateful that her efforts had paid off.

By the end of the summer, Shawnee realized that the vacation had actually been enjoyable, thanks to the newfound harmony in their household. She felt proud of her brothers for their growth and grateful for the peace and calm that had finally descended upon their home.
