One of the most interesting things I learned about this year in geography was about the concept of biomes and how they are different ecological communities with distinct climates, soils, and vegetation. It was fascinating to learn about the different biomes around the world, from rainforests to deserts to tundras, and how they are interconnected and how they play a crucial role in the balance of our planet's ecosystems.
