-3/7(-w^2)(7w)

In this equation, why is the answer positive? I thought the answer is negative because there are 3 negative signs..

1 answer

I see two negative signs, not three

con't confuse -w^2 with (-w)^2
-w^2 = (-1)(w)(w)= -w^2
(-w^2) = (-w)(-w) = +w^2
