3/4 divided by 2/5

So I think then I turn it into.

3/4 x 5/2

then I'm a bit confused after this.
Find the common denominators?
(Which would be 8)

In my lesson it says for 3 and 2 find their common factor. And it's 1. But that won't change anything.

Could someone please explain how to find the answer.

4 is the common denominator in the equation because 4 is a multiple of 2 which means that 2 times something (2) equals 4. You then would have 3/4*10/4.
Ah I understand now! Thank you Anonymous.
You do NOT need a common denominator for multiplication and division of fractions.

3/4 x 5/2
= simply 15/8

the answer given by anonymous of
3/4*10/4 is not incorrect, but it can be reduced.
= 30/16 = 15/8
