3^4 /3^3 + 4^2 *4^0/2^4

Please help and explains how you got the answer. I have been stuck on this for awhile and am not sure how to do this. Thank you!

1 answer

3^4/3^3 = 3^(4-3) = 3^1 = 3

4^2 * 4^0 = 4^(2+0) = 4^2 = (2^2)^2 = 2^(2*2) = 2^4

So, 2^4/2^4 = 1

3+1 = 4
