Would you think a liquid? A solid has particles close to each other but those particles are not free to move past each other. A gas has particles that are not as close to each other but they can move past each other. A liquid's particles are relatively close to each other and they can move past each other. See the "physical chemistry" definition of plasma here.http://www.google.com/search?q=define%3Aplasma&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
