Question

how did geography affect the italian peninsula?

Answers

Ms. Sue
Since it's a peninsula it has plenty of access to travel and trade all around the Mediterranean. In addition, the Greeks also had easy access to Italy and colonized some of the southern regions. Invaders from the north were few because of the barrier of the Alps.
