if we didn't have chemical energy what would change in our everyday life?

You would have to run on batteries, like a robot.

All the systems in the body would shut down causing our organs to shut themselves down and fail. Ultimately we would die without energy as we need energy to even breathe or blink. The body even uses energy to circulate our blood.
