As you learned in Unit 4, a narrative is a story. You started thinking about your story and created your organizer in unit 4. For this assignment, you will be developing your characters, adding in the details, the dialogue, etc., and write out your complete narrative essay. You can write a continuation of what you came up with in unit 4, or a new story. It can be completely made up, or it can be a personal narrative. Keep in mind, it must follow the narrative structure of exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution. It also must be DESCRIPTIVE, and must include DIALOGUE. PLEASE BE SURE TO SPELL CHECK YOUR WORK BEFORE SUBMITTING.

Resolution:
Detective Smith, who had been following the case discreetly, arrives at Grandma Rose's house with a big smile on his face. He congratulates Emma on cracking the case and presents her with a special badge for her detective skills. Emma is beaming with pride, knowing that she has solved the mystery of the missing necklace and brought joy back to her grandmother's heart. The town of Willow Creek celebrates the happy ending, and Emma is hailed as a local hero for her quick thinking and sleuthing abilities. And from that day on, Emma and Grandma Rose share an even stronger bond, united by the adventure they shared in solving the mystery together.
