When adding/subtracting fractions, the goal is to find a common denominator. a/c + b/c = (a+b)/c

When multiplying, you can simply multiply the numerators and denominators. (a/b)*(c/d) = (a*c)/(b*d)

2 3/6 + 3 1/2

Find the common denominator.

2 3/6 + 3 3/6 = 5 6/6 = 7
_______________

4 - 2 3/5 = 3 5/5 = 2 3/5 = 1 2/5

______________________

2/3 * 4/5 = 8/15
