Consider the experiment of selecting a card from an ordinary deck of 52 playing cards and determine the probibility of the stated event.
A. A nonface card or a 7 is drawn
B. A card that is not a king and not a spade is drawn.
For A a nonface card is 10/13 and for a 7 it is 1/13.
but I do not know how to start with the second one.

Probability is the good / total.
A. How many non-face or 7 cards are there? Divide it by 52. Be careful, a 7 is a non-face card.
B. How many cards are not Kings and not Spades? There are 13 Spades and 4 Kings, but 1 of those Kings is the King of Spades.

A. Ok there are 40 non-face cards and 4 seven cards, what do you mean do I add them and then divide by 52?
