Unless I've missed something, the glass costs 0.10 Euro and the tea costs 1.00 to make the tea + glass cost 1.10.

let the glass cost x euros
then the tea costs x+1 euros
x + x+1 = 1.1
2x = .1
x = .05 euros or 5 cents
glass costs 5 cents
tea cost 1.05
total = 5 + 1.05 = 1.1
then the tea costs x+1 euros
x + x+1 = 1.1
2x = .1
x = .05 euros or 5 cents
glass costs 5 cents
tea cost 1.05
total = 5 + 1.05 = 1.1

Well, I missed something, didn't I? I wrote those equations, too, took one look at them, said to myself, "That's too simple" and jumped to the wrong conclusion of 1.00 and 0.1. So much for simple.
