what are limitations that older psychology has? what is done to reduce thse limits from diminishing the value of research produced today?

I'm not sure what you mean by "older psychology." Are you talking about older psychological theories? If so, how old do they have to be to be considered "older"?

Or does the term refer to gerontology, the study of aging?
