I need to find three social and economic similarities in the South and West after the Civil War.
Here is what I have for the social similarities: Both were radically divided societies in which whites often used violence to assert their dominance.
Here is what I have for the economic similarities: Both became sources of agricultural goods and raw materials that fed urban and industrial growth in the northeastern and north central states. Both looked beyond their regions for human and financial resources needed to boost their economies.
I still need two similarities for social and one for economic, could someone please help me with this?
Also was the similarities that I listed correct?
How could I go about explaining the major social and economic similarities that took place in these two vastly different regions?
Thanks for the help.
