I am wondering why teachers in this computer age Use a computer anagram generator to sort the letters, then the student uses another computer to resort them back. Is this the battle of the computers? anagrams, to me, have lost the learning value.

I believe that puzzles, anagrams, and riddles given as homework are just busywork -- and the next thing to worthless. Kids are wasting time on these when they should be reading something good.
